Baby POP!

In fashion, anything is possible. And I mean anything. That's why something as backwards as an adult trend originating from children's wear isn't too shocking. According to WGSN, an upcoming trend in women's and men's wear for S/S15 is the soft pop color palette. Very pale pastels and delicate colors and textures are used to create a wispy, soft look.
Doesn't it seem awfully.....babyish? Not in a bad way! These colors make me think of what newborns are wrapped in: baby blues and pinks. Turns out, the soft pop trend is already seen for S/S15 children's wear.
Doesn't it just seem so fitting? These colors epitomize children's wear, and are usually the only colors seen on most babies (who dresses their baby in head-to-toe black?)
It's interesting to see how designers and trends get inspiration from everywhere, even if it's from simply looking down into your baby's crib!

  1. When I think pastels, I usually think Spring, it's interesting to see pastel becoming popular in fall! Love the concept of your blog by the way!

  2. One of the most exciting parts of spring is being able to pull out the warm pastel colors. I love these looks and the baby inspirations are too cute!
